My Transformation Story
🌸 My Transformation Story
Be You! Daily Tools For Transformation was born from lived experience.
This is not theory or something I learned in a weekend training. These tools come from my own journey of reconnecting with myself, healing old patterns, and learning how to live consciously.
✨ Hello! You found me!

I believe everything happens for a reason, so I don't think it's a coincidence that you found my website and are reading my transformation story.
My name is Katie Jones. I am a wife and a mother of three children. I grew up with both of my parents, who are still married, and a younger sister. I was raised in a strict Christian household with many rules as a child and teenager.
My parents loved me dearly and always did their best. And yet, as a young child, I carried a deeply rooted subconscious belief that I had to be someone I wasn't in order to be loved.
I remember thinking to myself that I was one person with my church friends, a different person with my parents, and another person with my non-church friends. It was exhausting and incredibly confusing to navigate.
🌱 The Years of Disconnection
As I entered my teen years, I began struggling with anxiety and depression, along with suicidal thoughts and many failed suicide attempts. All I wanted for about one year of my teenage life was to die. I spent time in and out of the hospital and was heavily medicated during that time.
After about a year, and my worst failed suicide attempt yet, my dad advocated for me to come off all medications. I felt numb for several months, but slowly I returned to myself, or at least the version of myself I believed I needed to be. And I chose to live.
I graduated high school, got a job, bought my own condo, and married my husband Daniel by the age of 22. On the outside, life looked great.
By the time I was 30, I had three kids and a successful in-home daycare business. Anxiety and depression still resurfaced at times, and for many years I relied on anxiety medication, which helped support me during those seasons.
🔥 The Turning Point
In August 2020, I hit a very low point. The COVID-19 pandemic pushed me to my breaking point.
Around that time, a new friend asked me to read a book with her called Coming Clean by Kylie Lewis.
Now, let me be clear… I was not a reader. I had proudly claimed to hate reading and was a devoted TV watcher. I loved to binge watch TV shows and watched TV whenever I could, while my kids and the daycare kids napped, in the bath, while cooking dinner, etc. If there was a screen available, I was watching it.
So committing to reading a book was wildly out of character for me.
But I read the entire book and completed every journaling prompt at the end of each chapter. When I finished, I picked up another book. Then another. Eventually, I stopped watching TV altogether for a period of time, except for a few documentaries and films related to spiritual awakening. The books I chose to read were self-help and spirituality books.
🌿 Waking Up to a New Way of Living
Through all of the reading, watching, listening, and learning, I realized something life-changing:
There is a completely different way to live.
I had been living unconsciously, running old, outdated subconscious programs that shaped my thoughts, emotions, and behaviors without my awareness.
What I learned was this:
✨ You can install new programs yourself.
💗 What I Started Doing Differently
1️⃣ I started loving myself. Truly loving me.
All of me. My stretch marks. My wrinkles. My smile. My laugh. Everything.
I began telling myself, I love you, and journaling those words daily. I realized how deeply I had disliked myself for most of my life. Loving myself felt essential.
That love also extended to my shadows, the parts I wanted to hide, and little Katie, my inner child.
2️⃣ I started spending intentional time with myself.
I took baths with soft music. I journaled. I meditated. I listened inward.
I connected with the real me, not the version I had been performing as. I learned to separate myself from my thoughts and reconnect with my feelings.
3️⃣ I practiced appreciation daily.
At first, it was simple:
- I appreciate being alive.
-
I appreciate my home.
Appreciation shifted everything. What you focus on, you get more of. When I focused on what I appreciated, my life gave me more to appreciate.
4️⃣ I journaled affirmations every day.
I wrote things I wanted to believe, even when they felt uncomfortable:
- I am confident.
- I am loved.
- I am worthy.
Over time, those words softened into truth. I began sharing vulnerably online, teaching parenting classes in my community, and doing things I never would have imagined myself doing before.
5️⃣ I learned how to work with my nervous system.
I learned about emotions, brain states, and regulation.
I can now sit with any emotion, allow it to move through me, and release it without dropping into fight, flight, or freeze. Over time, my relationship with anxiety changed completely, and I no longer rely on medication in my own life.
✨ Emotions are simply energy in motion.
6️⃣ I took ownership of my life.
I released the victim mindset and learned to soften when things didn't go my way. I began surrendering to the flow of life and trusting that everything was working for me.
7️⃣ I started creating more and consuming less.
I followed joy. I followed curiosity. I followed fun.
8️⃣ I learned how to live in the present moment.
I laugh more. I play more. I enjoy my life.
I choose happiness now, and outside circumstances no longer dictate my inner state.
🔮 The Birth of Be You!
One summer evening in 2025, while sitting around a campfire at a campground, an idea dropped in.
What if I created affirmation cards to share on TikTok?
That idea grew into journals and guided meditations, the three tools that transformed my life more than anything else.
And Be You! Daily Tools For Transformation was born.
🌸 Why This Exists
This business has been completely intuitively guided.
My goal is to share my story, create meaningful tools that support real change, and make a difference in the world.
I believe we are all here to simply BE YOU.
The YOU beneath the programming.
The YOU that is creative and playful.
The YOU full of ideas.
The YOU you would be if no one was watching.
The YOU that gets paid to exist.
If any part of this resonates with you, you're exactly where you're meant to be.
These tools were created to support your own journey back to yourself. 💗
